Greetings from the Master Beekeeper Program –
Once again, Certified Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Level participants will get to join in on the New Mexico State Beekeepers Winter Meeting via Zoom as part of our program so, it’s free to Master Beekeeping Program Participants. Non-Program participants can also register to attend via the links provided below.
This is perfect timing, as CSBA is now taking applications for the Spring 2023 Certified Apprentice cohort.
If you have at least one year of beekeeping experience and have taken an approved beginning beekeeping class, you qualify to enter at this level. Those with 4 years or more of beekeeping experience can join us at the Journeyman Level. Here’s the place to find the applications, https://coloradobeekeepers.org/education/general-information-and-applications/. The other exciting news is that we also have a great scholarship fund, thanks to generous donors who wanted to commemorate Tom Theobald’s legacy as a great beekeeper and teacher of beekeeping. Send in the program application first, and after you are accepted, you can fill out the scholarship application https://forms.gle/MaxoVwYRE5qJ3sUo8
The New Mexico winter meeting on Saturday, Feb. 4th looks great, with Dr. Juliana Rangel, Dr. Judy Wu-Smart, and Dr. Cameron Jack on the schedule, among others. If you aren’t in the Master Beekeeper Program, you can attend for only $30. Sign up now! https://nmbeekeepers.org/conference/
Thanks,
