Gregg will be holding his information-packed beekeeping classes again this year. The cost is $75.00. Each class runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a 1-hour break for lunch. Please bring paper and pen to take notes. Classes are held next-door to our store, and weather permitting, afternoon classes will be also held at several hive locations. New to Beekeeping? Sign up for our beekeeping class taught by a local bee expert. This two hour class will cover everything you need to know about beekeeping, including: hive preparation, installing a bee package, how to use beekeeping equipment, feeding your new bees and hive inspections.
The cost is $35.

The April 22nd program will be presented by John Sheridan of Bees in the Trees and will provide an Introduction of Beekeeping.
If you have been thinking about becoming a beekeeper – – or if you already have a hive or two and would like to ge some tips from someone who really knows what he’s doing, this is the perfect Earth Day event for you.
John will cover all the basics: what tools you need, where to find bees, and a calendar of beekeeping tasks.
