Carniolan or Italian Queen--GRAND JUNCTION PICKUP ONLY
 NO SHIPPING OR DROPS ELSEWHERE FOR 2013. However Package bees will be available for a drop in SLC, Denver and Grand Junction. Carnolian Queens will be provided from Big Island Queens and CF Koehnen and Sons Queens, both companies are very reputable and reliable. Nucs will be available for pick up May 8th here in Grand Junction. Nucs will not be delivered at anytime to either SLC or Denver. Only the packages will be delivered to our drop sites. Description of our 5 Frame Deep Nucs: We respectfully place these Nucs with more than enough brood, honey, pollen, to establish a healthy honeybee colony. Here’s what’s included in your Nuc. OUR PROMISE A marked queen with 2013 Red dot. Let there be no mistake, you will have a 2013 queen identified by this years color. One Cardboard Nuc Box 3 FRAMES OF BROOD & BEES 1 FRAME OF HONEY 1 NEW FRAME NON-DRAWN OUT FOUNDATION 2013 Spring Carniolan Queen that will be darker in over all color, hygienic behavior, gentle, forages good distance, good honey production, robs less, and loves Colorado weather. 2013 Spring Italian queen that will be more gold in color, hygienic behavior, Gentle, quick build up, excellent honey production, and Loves Colorado wild flowers. This queen will be marked with this years color which will be a "Red" dot.  A tip on queen selection:We use both of the Italian and Carniolan in our operation. They both have a place in Rocky Mt. Beekeeping. I sell both breeds as to give you a choice. We sell each equally 50/50. With last year being so dry both types were stressed. Remember bees are an unpredictable insect and are vulnerable to weather patterns, and wildlife. We do not warranty behavior, production, or performance. I am in Carbondale and new to bee keeping. I am very much looking forward to getting established and setting up my hives. I am taking classes May 4th and 5th and would like to know if you have any bees and nucs still available! Thank you, Amita Welles 928-607-4393
