Hi, my name is Joshua Webb. I live in black forest. I don't actually own any hives but I want to get some soon. I look foward to meeting everyone and learning about bees.

hey, thanks for your generous welcome. I was wondering, would Carolinian bees be good for our climate, and is it safe to buy hives off craigslist?
thanks

Don't know anything about the Carolinian bees. and buying hives of craigs list. you talking just hardware or bees too? i'd have to leave that up to your discretion providing that you do a thorough inspection of them. but i'd always be leary about buying used hardware becuase of disease or chemicals they may have used on their hives. just my opinion.
