General Discussion / Liability insurance for "sideline" bee/honey business?
« Last post by Sweet City Bees on November 14, 2012, 05:25:14 AM »
Hello,
Anyone have referrals to insurance agents/companies that are familiar with beekeeper's insurance - both for the beekeeping side of the business (someone stung by a bee while visiting beeyard) as well as product liability on the honey sold? It'd just be a sideline business - between 10-30 hives scattered around town.
thanks!
Jd

NEWbees - Beekeeping 101 / Mouse Guards
« Last post by dps on August 27, 2012, 06:03:18 AM »
It is 8/27/2012, time to install a mouse guard on any hive that doesn't already have a mouse prevention tool in place.  This is not equivalent to an entrance reducer.  Consider using 1/2" hardware cloth or equivalent.  ... dons
