The bee package order this year is much like in previous years. 
We are offering three pound packages of bees with a queen for $89 to NCBA and CSBA members, $99 to non-members. 
Italian, Minnesota Hygienic and New World Carniolan varieties are available.  NCBA / CSBA members receive order preference through February 14th. 

The balance of our allotment will go to orders, first come - first served - received through February 28th, the final order deadline.

Our nucs are five wooden plasticell frames that fit deep supers! They consist of capped and uncapped brood, pollen and honey. All the nucs have a marked laying queen who is a hybrid VSH (varroa sensitive hygiene) Carniolan/Italian queen that is sensitized to Colorado.

Nuc Prices: $160.00

If you are uncertain as to whether you need a nuc or a package, please give a call. (Tim 303-514-9257) There are a finite number of packages and nucs available. Please place your order as soon as possible to reserve bees.

This Spring we will have both 3lb queened packages of bees and 5 framed Nucs. Both the packages and nucs will be queened with our hybrid VSH (varroa sensitive hygiene) Carniolan/Italian queens that are highly sensitized to Colorado. We have been selecting and breeding queens who exhibit:

Good Honey Production
Hygienic Behavior
Successful over wintering
Gentle Dispositions

Bee Package Prices
1-5 packages: $102
6 packages and up: $95
Marked Queen, add $3

Our planned delivery date will be Saturday May 4th in Denver at To Bee or Not to Bee in Denver. The timely delivery of bees is dependent on the weather and the mating of queens. If we need to change the delivery date due to unforeseen circumstances, you are still responsible for picking up your bees on the alternate date.

Carnolian Queens will be provided from Big Island Queens and CF Koehnen and Sons Queens, both companies are very reputable and reliable. Nucs will be available for pick up May 8th here in Grand Junction. Nucs will not be delivered at anytime to either SLC or Denver. Only the packages will be delivered to our drop sites. Mason bees this late?  Hmmmm.  There are lots of beekeepers in Greeley as there are no restrictions or bans.  Must not be anyone near you.  Perhaps you should get bees?!
