The May meeting will be a special, members-only screening of BEE PEOPLE, a documentary film made by Women Who Bee President Leslie Ellis and featuring local “Bee Guru” Gregg McMahan – as well as several other Colorado-area beekeepers.
It’s important that you RSVP as the room is small and can seat a max of 60 people. Please bring a snack to share if your schedule permits; we’ll supply cups/plates/cutlery and wine and water. Please RSVP to Leslie@EllisEdits.com.
Format will be same as always: First a “round robin” of “how’s your bees?”, then the screening. Note that both activities may take us past the 9P end time. Also: Bring your calendars so we can zero in on some Spring/Summer field trips.
It is time to pay our 2013 DUES!
Annual dues for Women Who Bee are $20 if you don’t already belong to another club that is affiliated with the Colorado State Beekeeping Association (www.csba.org). If you do belong to another club that is already paying your state fee, then annual membership for our club is $13. Membership dues are good for a calendar year from date of payment. Dues must be paid by cash or check. If you are paying with a check, make the check out to “Susan Markley”, “cash” or leave it blank.
Dues are primarily used to pay for refreshments at our meetings and to help pay transportation costs for visiting speakers.
