[We meet every 3rd Monday except for November and December]
Our guest speaker is a commercial beekeeper by the name of Tom Haefeli, great guy. I met him at the CSBA winter meeting last year. He moves his bees to Texas in the winter for feeding and to the Almond orchards in the early part of the year.
I am still hoping that some one in the club will step up and form a Hospitality committee. You could make it as simple or as complex as you like. You get to create the mold.
You will still be able to purchase bees, become a member, and buy woodenware at the meeting Monday.
I have attached a picture to this email that Bill Birz sent over to me, who knows what type bees these are????? If you know and reply to this message remember to “reply to all” so we all get the ideas and thoughts.
Depending on how difficult this ends up being I may be able to track down a little prize for the winner.
