MEMBERSHIP:
Membership in CSBA is open to any beekeeper in Colorado or any supporter of beekeeping in Colorado.
Members do not necessarily have to be residents of Colorado.
The current rates for dues are as follows:
Associate Membership (non-beekeeper and/or auxiliary supporter) $75.00 per year.
Hobbyist (1 to 4 hives) $10.00.
Sideliner (5-100 hives) $25.00
Serious Sideliner (101-150 hives) $40.00
Small Commercial (101 to 1000 hives) $55.00
Commercial (1000 or more hives) $110.00.

This day and a half comprehensive course covers all aspects of beekeeping in the Pikes Peak region. You will learn how to acquire bees and the necessary equipment to keep them. We will demonstrate equipment assembly and honey extraction. Bee biology and the skills to manage your bees through the 4 seasons, including disease management, will be covered. <br>All lectures are presented by local beekeepers with years of collective knowledge.
Whether you are interested in keeping your own colonies, or simply wanting to know more about these fascinating creatures and their wonderful product--honey, this easy-to-follow course will open a new door into the natural world for you.
Cost: $50.00 per person. <br>Includes the book "First Lessons in Beekeeping".
